Wealth Advisor Mark Silvers, CFP®, recently joined volunteers from the Kiwanis Club of Skidaway to prepare and serve dinner for families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire.
Founded in 1988, the Kiwanis Club of Skidaway supports at-risk children throughout the Savannah-Chatham County area through fundraising efforts, volunteer service, and community initiatives. Over the years, the organization has contributed more than $2 million and over 300,000 volunteer service hours to local causes.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire provides housing, comfort, and support for families with critically ill or injured children receiving medical care in the region. Since 1987, the organization has helped families stay close to their children by providing a welcoming place to stay near local hospitals.
Mark also serves on the board of Ronald McDonald House and was proud to support the effort alongside fellow Kiwanis volunteers.
